Hot off of four top 10 hits, including Fergie's "London Bridge" megahit, UMPG's Polow teams up with Usher on his No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 chart topper "Love In This Club" feat Young Jeezy. This marks the third-largest jump in Billboard Hot 100 history, climbing from 51 to No. 1. The song is also No. 1 on Hot Digital Songs. "Love In This Club" is the first single from Usher's new album, Here I Stand (Zomba), due in June.

Mariah Carey's first single off of E=MC² "Touch My Body" earns its first No. 1 position on a Billboard chart as it climbs six places to the top spot on Billboard's Hot 100 Streaming Chart. On the heels of renewing her publishing deal with UMPG, Mariah Carey has released the 11th studio album of her career, E=MC² is the follow-up to The Emancipation Of Mimi, Mariah's worldwide 10 million selling No. 1 album.

UMPG announced the successful renewal of an exclusive global publishing agreement with artist/writer/producer Ne-Yo.
"I'm more than content with my Universal family. Being a firm believer in, 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it,' it makes perfect sense to stay in a place where I'm respected as an artist, encouraged as a writer, and overall, accepted as the individual I am. Following Adele's Brit's Critics Choice Award, the 19 year old songstress has now won the BBC's Sound of 2008 Poll to find the most promising new music talent, voted by 150 UK music critics, editors and broadcasters. Adele's debut album 19 shot straight to No. 1 in the UK charts with sales of over 70,000 in the first week. UMPG Latin America artists Wisin Y Yandel brought home Univision's Premios Lo Nuestro Urban Artist of the Year award and Urban Song of the Year Award for their hit "Pegao."
The duo also continues to top the album sales charts by remaining in the top 10 sixteen weeks after the release of Wisin Vs. Yandel.
